NASA Introduces Beta Site; On-Demand Streaming Service, App Update Coming Soon

NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has introduced a cutting-edge on-demand streaming platform called NASA+. This website offers an ad-free and family-friendly service at no cost. Additionally, NASA is revamping its science websites to enhance the user experience. Currently in beta, the website allows users to access a preview and provide feedback at beta.nasa.gov. NASA plans to continuously update and improve the beta site based on user input.

The US-based space agency, NASA, is making changes to its main websites in order to improve accessibility for viewers. As stated in the press release here, these websites will provide comprehensive information on the agency’s missions, research, climate data, and Artemis updates. Both nasa.gov and science.nasa.gov will be regularly updated and improved based on user feedback.

In addition to the website revamps, NASA has plans to launch a new streaming platform called NASA+ later this year. This platform will complement the upgraded NASA app. NASA+ will offer ad-free access to the agency’s Emmy Award-winning live coverage and will also introduce new series. The streaming service will be available on major platforms, including the NASA App for iOS and Android devices, as well as Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, and desktop and mobile web browsers.

Furthermore, NASA is integrating its upcoming websites with in-house multimedia libraries through several other revamps. While the launch date for NASA+ has not been announced, the beta website is already accessible to users.
