Gaiman proposes the idea of creating episode-specific discussion groups, each with spoiler warnings, to allow fans to progress through the story together. He emphasizes that the best solution should come from the viewers themselves. He wants to foster a space where fans can freely share their thoughts and theories without fear of spoiling the experience for others. Gaiman’s Tumblr post serves as a platform for fans to discuss, suggest, and come up with a viewing and discussion plan that works for everyone. Good Omens 2: What We Know About Amazon’s Prime Video Series

Good Omens 2 will premiere on Prime Video with all six episodes available on July 28th in over 240 countries and territories. Check out the official trailer for Good Omens 2 and read the season’s official overview for a sneak preview:

Based on the international best-selling novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, Good Omens 2 explores new storylines that deepen the inseparable bond between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), an angel and rare-book dealer, and Crowley (David Tennant), a demon. After preventing the Apocalypse, the duo returns to their lives among mortals in London’s Soho.

However, their peaceful existence is disrupted when the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) appears at Aziraphale’s bookshop with no memory of his identity. While Crowley remains cautious, Aziraphale is eager to uncover the truth behind Gabriel’s condition. The duo’s attempts to hide the archangel from Heaven and Hell lead to unforeseen consequences. To solve the mystery and defy Heaven and Hell once again, they must rely on each other.

The cast of Good Omens 2 includes Sheen and Tennant reprising their roles as Aziraphale and Crowley, respectively. Jon Hamm returns as Gabriel, joined by Doon Mackichan as Michael and Gloria Obianyo as Uriel. Miranda Richardson portrays demon Shax, Maggie Service plays Maggie, and Nina Sosanya takes on the role of Nina. The new season also introduces Liz Carr as Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Shelley Conn as Beelzebub.

Gaiman continues as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Douglas Mackinnon, who directed all episodes of the season. Other executive producers include Rob Wilkins of Narrativia, representing Pratchett’s estate, John Finnemore, and Josh Cole, head of comedy at BBC Studios Productions. The new season of Good Omens is a collaboration between Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation, and Narrativia.
