Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released less than a week ago, and it is not exactly having the best launch week. The game has been criticised heavily for its extremely short and lacklustre campaign. The multiplayer mode hasn’t been any great either, with several bugs and glitches hampering the gameplay experience. Interestingly, a fan-made trailer provides players with an “accurate” telling of how the game’s multiplayer really feels.
Spotted by DotEsports, YouTube account Jacos133 has just released a video titled “The Accurate MWIII Multiplayer Trailer” and it’s hilarious, to say the least. The user has created a video by using clips from the multiplayer official trailer for the first-person title, along with clips of players going through some really annoying glitches when playing the game. The video starts off with cinematics from the actual trailer and also has Eminem and Nate Dogg’s Till I Collapse playing in the background. However, after almost 40 seconds in the video, instead of the gameplay clips that were added by Activision, we start seeing glitches that players have experienced in the game.
The video points out various problems in the game. It highlights glitches like players repeatedly spawning in one place and getting attacked by enemies, enemies not being defeated properly, and other issues that have been causing trouble during gameplay. The video suggests that the developers required extra time to make the game smoother and better. It’s not far from the truth, since the game got a low score of 56/100 from critics and an alarming 1.6/10 from users on Metacritic, as of this writing.
