iOS users to benefit from Twitter’s new Picture-in-Picture support

Twitter has introduced a new feature for Apple iPhone users that enhances their multitasking capabilities. Users will now be able to watch Twitter videos while using other apps on their iPhones and iPads. This feature, demonstrated in a video shared by iSoftware Updates, allows users to view Twitter videos in a Picture-in-Picture mode, where the video player appears as a floating window in a corner of the screen without disrupting the scrolling experience. It is important to note that the rollout of this feature is gradual and not all iOS users currently have access to it. However, users can ensure compatibility by installing the latest version of the Twitter app on their devices.

In the meantime, Twitter has introduced two new features exclusive to Twitter Blue users. Previously, Twitter Blue subscribers could write long-form content of up to 10,000 characters. Now, that limit has been extended to 25,000 characters, giving users more room for expression. Additionally, Twitter Blue users can now include up to four inline images in their write-ups. The microblogging platform announced these features through a tweet, inviting users to subscribe to Twitter Blue to access these enhancements.
