High Resolution Image Sharing Now Available for WhatsApp Users

WhatsApp users can now send high resolution images to their contacts, as reported online. The Meta-owned platform has made the feature available for beta testers on both Android and iOS. The feature enables a better photo quality experience by preserving photo dimensions. Users can access the feature by upgrading their Android version to 2.23.12.13, or their iOS version to 23.11.0.76. The feature applies light compression to the image, maintaining the image dimensions but not the original quality. Users must select the HD option every time they wish to share a photo with improved quality. WhatsApp has also launched a global security center to promote user safety. The platform aims to help users protect themselves from spam messages and unwanted contact. The center offers resources, including features like two-step verification and enhanced group controls. The Security Center is in English and ten Indian languages, including Hindi and Tamil.
