Xbox Games Showcase Teases Exciting News on ‘Fable’

Microsoft is getting ready to reveal a new look at the highly anticipated game Fable at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 on June 11. The company posted a teaser video on Twitter featuring an Xbox controller covered in glitter and a monitor displaying information about the event. The whimsical music and colorful details suggest that the game being teased is Fable. The caption at the end of the teaser video reads “seems important,” inviting fans to tune in on June 11 to find out more.

Fable was first announced in 2020 with a cinematic trailer, but there hasn’t been much information on the game since then. We do know that it will be a single-player experience available on Xbox Series X and PC. It’s unclear whether it will be a sequel to the original trilogy or a standalone game.

Head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty has expressed a desire to show off Fable, but developer PlayGround Games has refused until the game is ready. However, it seems that the time to showcase the fantasy game has finally arrived. In other gaming news, the director of Cyberpunk 2077 has launched a new studio, Blank, with other former Witcher developers.
