EFCC arrests 16 suspected Internet fraudsters in Kaduna

Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested 16 suspected internet fraudsters at the fifth Chucker Polo Club, Marabban Jos,  Kaduna,  Kaduna state.

This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by the Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale; a copy of which was obtained by Saturday PUNCH.

The commission stated that the arrest was made on Thursday, following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

The suspects, comprising 13 males and three females are Bello Abiodun, Abraham Adama, Shedrack Bisola, Friday Markus,  Ransom Joash Destiny,  Joshua Winner, Samuel Shehu,  John Daniel and Christian Righteous.

Others are Godwin Dikko, Ogochukwu Ijeh,  Bilbert Sabo,  Akosa Joshua, Precious Yohanna, Joy Righteous and Samuel Ruth.

Items recovered from them are mobile phones and laptops.

The EFCC noted that the suspects would be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
