‘Diablo 4’ and ‘Overwatch 2’ Successfully Overcome DDoS Attacks

Blizzard Studios has confirmed that several of their games, including Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, were targeted by a series of DDoS attacks over the weekend. These attacks resulted in players being frequently disconnected from the games and encountering login issues. Blizzard’s customer service team acknowledged the problem and assured players that they are actively working to resolve it. The studio attributed the high latency and disconnections to a DDoS attack, which overwhelms the servers with a large number of connections, preventing legitimate players from logging in. Users also reported issues with logging into other Blizzard games like Diablo 2: Resurrected and World of Warcraft.

Despite their efforts, the DDoS attacks persisted throughout the day. However, Blizzard has now declared that the attacks have ended and advised users who are still experiencing problems to refer to their connection troubleshooting page for assistance. In unrelated news, the game BattleBit: Remastered is gaining popularity on Steam.
