Apple Ventures into Spatial Computing with Vision Pro: Features, Availability, and More

Apple has unveiled its new product, Apple Vision Pro, a spatial computing device that blends virtual, augmented reality and more with physical reality. Vision Pro creates a canvas for apps that scales beyond the limits of a traditional display and introduces a fully three-dimensional user interface controlled by a user’s eyes, hands, and voice. Apple has also introduced VisionOS, the world’s first spatial operating system that allows users to interact with digital content as if it were physically present in their space.

Pricing and availability

Apple Vision Pro will retail at $3,499 (U.S.) and will be available early next year on Apple online store and at Apple Store locations in the U.S. At present, there has been no announcement regarding the names of the additional countries where it will be made available.
Apple Vision Pro: Specs
Vision Pro features an ultra-high-resolution display system with a unique dual-chip design that packs 23 million pixels across two displays, controlled by custom Apple silicon to ensure real-time user experience. It offers advanced spatial audio and can transform any space into a personal theatre with a screen that feels 100 feet wide. Users can watch high-resolution 180-degree recordings with spatial audio, access an expansive library of immersive videos transporting them to new places. With Vision Pro, FaceTime calls take full advantage of the surrounding environment, reflecting everyone on the call in life-size tiles with spatial audio. Users can access their entire photo library on iCloud at a life-size scale and collaborate with others online, watching movies and browsing photos together.

Apple Vision Pro also features EyeSight, an impressive innovation that helps users stay connected with those around them. When someone approaches a user wearing Vision Pro, the device becomes transparent, allowing the user to see them while also displaying the user’s eyes.
