Apple News: Get insights on Apple’s Vision Pro by reading Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s email to employees

Apple has unveiled its latest product, the augmented reality headset called Vision Pro, at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2023). Designed to seamlessly blend the digital and real world, the headset takes the form of a pair of ski goggles, and is the first Apple product that users will look through, rather than at, according to CEO Tim Cook. However, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of rival company Meta, doesn’t seem too impressed with the Vision Pro. During a companywide meeting, Zuckerberg criticized Apple’s product, saying that its design didn’t feature any major technological breakthroughs that Meta hadn’t already explored, and that the Vision Pro’s vision for how people will use the device is “not the one that I want.” Despite this, the Vision Pro has already generated a great deal of excitement among tech enthusiasts, positioning Apple as a major player in the future of augmented reality.
