If you can’t decide on a movie to watch, this article will help you learn about top movies to watch.
1. House of Dragons
The series tells the story of events on the fictional continent of Westeros, which took place approximately 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones”. The plot focuses on “The Dance of Dragons,” a civil war (129-131 from the Conquest of Aegon I) caused by the struggle between two branches of House Targaryen. “The Dance” began after the painful death of King Viserys I, when Princess Rhaenyra, supported by the Black Party, and Prince Aegon Targaryen, supported by the Green Party, simultaneously declared their rights to the Iron Throne.
2. Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power
The action of the television series is set thousands of years before the events described in “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings. The plot is based on the history of Middle-earth described in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. The series begins at a time of relative peace and covers all the major events of the Second Age of Middle-earth: the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of the dark lord Sauron, the fall of the island kingdom of Numenor and the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. These events unfold over more than three thousand years in Tolkien’s works, but the writers of the series have greatly compressed the original chronology.
3. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
T’Challa, king of Wakanda, dies of a disease that his sister Shuri believed could be cured with “heart-shaped flowers. Shuri tried to synthetically recreate the flowers after they were destroyed by Killmonger but was unsuccessful.
A year later, Wakanda is pressured by other countries to share their vibranium, and some parties try to steal it by force. Ramonda begs Shuri to continue her research on the heart herb, hoping to create a new Black Panther to protect Wakanda, but she refuses, as she believes that the Black Panther is a figure of the past. The chase for vibranium has prompted the CIA to use a new vibranium detection machine to find what they believe to be an underwater vibranium deposit. The entire search party is attacked and killed by Namor and his blue-skinned, water-breathing men, but the CIA believes Wakanda is responsible. Namor goes to Ramonda and Shuri, easily bypassing Wakanda’s beefed-up security system. He blames Wakanda for the start of the vibranium fever and tells them to find and turn over to him the scientist responsible for the machine to detect the vibranium, or he will attack Wakanda.
Shuri and Okoye, with the help of their friend Everett K. Ross, travel to Boston to meet the scientist responsible for the invention: a Massachusetts Institute of Technology student named Riri Williams. The group is pursued by the FBI and then by Namor’s warriors, who defeat Okoye and take Shuri and Riri underwater to meet Namor. Ramonda strips Okoye of her Dora Milaje duties and seeks out Nakia, who lives in Haiti after the Leap[b], for help in finding Shuri and Riri. Shuri meets Namor, who shows her his underwater kingdom of Talocan, protected by him for centuries and rich in vibranium. Bitter on the surface world that once rejected him, Namor would prefer an alliance with Wakanda against the rest of the world, but promises to destroy Wakanda first if they refuse. Nakia helps Shuri and Riri escape, and Namor responds by attacking the Wakanda capital, during which Ramonda drowns while saving Riri. Namor gives them a week to say goodbye to their dead and promises to return with an army.
4. Black Adam
The original version of Vincent Gomez’s Black Adam appeared during Fawcett Publishing’s original launch of Captain Marvel in The Marvel Family #1. He was then the prince of Ancient Egypt, Tet Adam (literally translated as “The Mighty Man”), who was chosen by the wizard Shazam as his successor because he thought he was blameless.
When Tet-Adam spoke the magical word “Shazam,” he transformed into a super-strong being, Mighty Adam. Possessing the same powers as Captain Marvel later, Mighty Adam was corrupted by a such mighty power. The wizard Shazam originally granted him powers derived from the Greco-Roman deities, although this fact was later changed, and he endowed him with the powers of the Egyptian gods.
Deciding that he should rule the world, Adam overthrows and kills Pharaoh and appropriates his throne. In a rage, Shazam gives his wayward champion a new name-“Black Adam”-and, unable to take back his powers, banishes him to the farthest star in the universe.
