Need For Speed Unbound is set to receive its highly anticipated update on June 20th. Volume 3 is bringing an abundance of new content to the game.
Criterion Games and Electronic Arts have announced the release of the much-awaited update, Volume 3, for the popular racing title, Need For Speed Unbound. This update is part of a series of post-launch updates aimed at keeping the game fresh and exciting. The team has added numerous new features, including new races, playlists, events, Daily and Weekly Challenges, cosmetics, customizations, and vehicles. One vehicle to look out for is the iconic ’80s classic, DMC Delorean. Details regarding the update and a trailer can be found on the official game website.

Victorious players will earn rewarding prizes, including the iconic DMC Delorean car. - Speed Pass: This new progression system, Speed Pass, offers players free cosmetics and customization items as rewards for playing. It features 75 tiers of content, including new outfits, Driving Effects, neon lights, banner stickers, and more. By completing challenges, players can earn XP and unlock exciting rewards, such as the new Legendary Custom SRT Viper (2014).
- Linkups: Take a break from traditional racetracks and embark on an exhilarating journey to seven different locations, from the scenic Seba Ski Resort to the imposing Quarry. Collaborate with the Lakeshore community to conquer challenging stunt-based tasks with escalating difficulty against the clock. Players will earn XP for Speed Pass and Bank, gaining access to desirable cosmetics and customizations. Completing 12 rounds of the Linkups event awards players with the coveted DMC Delorean.
- More Ways to Play: Engage in 68 new Challenges, including 29 Daily Challenges and 13 sets of Weekly Challenges, to earn XP and Bank. The update also introduces the Chat Wheel, enabling quick communication with the Lakeshore community. Additionally, players can enjoy new Drift Playlists, adding more variety to the gameplay by challenging them to achieve high scores on each course.
- In-Game Store: Visit the in-game store to purchase content packs containing cars, cosmetics, driving effects, and more, including:
- Robojets Swag Pack: This pack, available for $14.99, offers a wide range of uniquely designed Robojets-themed items, including clothing, a driving effect, an exclusive horn, and the Legendary Custom Mazda RX-7 Spirit R (2022).
