Hollywood’s portrayal of Asian characters has evolved over the years, with many actors and actresses from the Asian community making a positive impact in the entertainment industry. However, in the past, Asian characters were often depicted as weak, nerdy, and powerless. Bruce Lee’s rise to prominence challenged these stereotypes with his incredible acting skills and martial arts prowess. His critically revered films opened doors for more successful martial arts-themed movies in the future.
