Forza Horizon 5 is set to receive a special addition from the upcoming Barbie movie: Barbie’s iconic pink Corvette.
Microsoft has announced that players will be able to race Barbie’s classic 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV in their flagship Forza game.
“By bringing Barbie’s distinctive style to our gaming platform, we are paying homage to this iconic role model,” stated Kirsten Ward, Vice President of Xbox Integrated Marketing, in an official statement. “Her unwavering optimism, diverse career journey, and endless capacity for self-discovery.”
That’s not all, though. Players can also indulge in a ride with Ken’s 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup while cruising through Mexico.

Both cars are now available for download to all players in Forza Horizon 5 through the in-game Message Center.
Once downloaded, the cars will appear in your in-game garage.
In addition to these exciting rides, Microsoft has teamed up with Warner Bros. Pictures and Mattel to showcase how women can get involved in gaming through a special video presentation.
“Learn about the various careers in gaming as the developers behind the Forza franchise share their personal career journeys, motivations, and connection to Barbie,” explains Ward. “Fans can also catch the video debut during an exclusive livestream on July 14th from the World of Barbie, where our hosts will race in Barbie and Ken’s movie rides in Forza Horizon 5.”
If that’s not enough, there’s a chance to win a customized Xbox Series S inspired by Barbie’s dreamhouse.
You can enter the prize draw starting from July 10 at Microsoft Rewards. The Barbie movie will be released in the UK on July 21, 2023.
