Samsung unveiled its revolutionary Galaxy Enhance-X AI-powered photo editing app for the Galaxy S23 series in April this year.
The app was later introduced to the Galaxy S22 Ultra in subsequent months.
Now, the application is preparing to leave its beta stage and expand its availability to a wide range of Samsung devices. The newly released Galaxy Enhance-X app will be accessible on the following devices:
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S20
- Galaxy Note 20
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy Z Fold 2
- Galaxy Z Flip 5G/LTE
This application utilizes advanced artificial intelligence to eliminate blur and reflections in your photos. Additionally, it offers options to enhance image quality and improve the HDR effect. Some of these tools resemble those found in Samsung’s stock Gallery app. However, Galaxy Enhance-X takes it a step further by providing one-tap smart adjustments using AI algorithms.
After fine-tuning an image, you can compare the before and after versions using the on-screen slider. Unlike Samsung Gallery, this app does not require full access to your entire photo library. Instead, you manually select the specific photo you want to enhance. In the future, Samsung may merge the two apps to provide a comprehensive photo editing solution for its users.
The South Korean technology giant has also hinted at making the app available on certain A-Series smartphones, although that implementation has yet to be realized.
