Report: Samsung Galaxy S23 Series to Receive One UI 6 Beta Update along with Android 14 Beta Reaching Platform Stability

Google has released the Android 14 beta 3.1 update to eligible users, and now there are speculations that Samsung will soon launch the One UI 6 beta update. Samsung is currently preparing for the launch of its next line of foldable phones. A recent report suggests that the Android 14-based One UI 6 beta update will be available to eligible users in the near future. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S23 series with the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 skin.

A report by SamMobile reveals that Samsung has already started updating its apps with One UI 6.0 support, indicating that eligible Samsung Galaxy smartphone users will soon have access to the Samsung One UI 6.0 beta. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be the first to receive the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update, followed by other eligible devices.

According to the report, the One UI 6.0 beta is likely to be released in the third week of July, with the stable version of One UI 6.0 expected to be available before the end of the year.

Last month, Google released the Android 14 beta 3.1 update to eligible Pixel users. The Beta 3 version of Android 14 brings Platform Stability, indicating that the software version has reached its final stage of development.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in February this year, all running on the Android 13-based One UI 5.1.

The upcoming Android 14 is anticipated to bring various new features and design improvements, including custom clock options for the lock screen and a battery health monitoring feature similar to iOS.
