JunkFood Custom Arcades, the company behind the popular Snack Box Micro controller, has just unveiled their latest creation: the SWORL. This revolutionary controller offers a versatile gaming experience across multiple genres. Combining elements of an analog pad, a fight stick, and a mechanical keyboard, the SWORL features a WASD D-pad, two thumb analog controls, and up to ten customizable keys.
The SWORL design replaces the traditional joystick with two thumb domes that provide enhanced control, eliminating the need for excessive thumb movement. Ergonomically designed, the SWORL positions the player’s hands as comfortably as a standard ergonomic keyboard, with all inputs at approximately the same height.

Similar to other JunkFood Custom controllers, the SWORL offers extensive customization options. Players can personalize their controller with custom artwork, LED lighting, MX switches, case colors, and even the button layout on the right side. Additionally, the software provides further customization, allowing players to modify LEDs, remap controls, and store up to 10 profiles for instant switching in-game.
The SWORL is currently in the prototype stage, and JunkFood Custom Arcades plans to showcase it at Evo in August to gather feedback from players. Besides enhancing ergonomic gameplay, this innovative controller design also aims to increase accessibility for a wide range of players.
