According to the ministry, Facebook complied with government requests and removed 2,549 posts during the first half of this year. YouTube also took down 6,101 videos, while TikTok removed 415 links. During the information ministry’s event, it was reported that Netflix has submitted the necessary documents to open a local office in Vietnam. This demonstrates foreign tech companies’ increasing willingness to comply with Vietnam’s regulations and establish a presence within the country.
