Possible rewritten title: Google Workspace Bug Enables Hackers to pilfer User Data

Cybersecurity experts have discovered a security flaw in the Google Workspace which potentially allows hackers to steal users’ data. According to Mitiga Security, this vulnerability can allow an attacker to gain access to an organization’s Google Drive and steal data without leaving any trace. However, it should be noted that this bug only affects users who do not have a paid enterprise license for Google Workspace. The company claims that users who do not have a paid license for Google Workspace have their private drive actions left undocumented. As a result, hackers can cancel their paid license and switch them to the free “Cloud Identity Free” license to disable users from logging and recording, enabling them to steal files without leaving any trace. The researchers who discovered this bug have alerted Google, but the company has not yet acknowledged the issue.

Meanwhile, hackers are also targeting iPhones with an unknown malware via iMessage to gain complete control over the iOS device and spy on users. According to cybersecurity firm Kaspersky, the mobile Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) campaign, also known as Operation Triangulation, is distributing zero-click exploits via iMessage to run malware and gain complete control over the device and user data. The hackers’ apparent end goal is to “hiddenly spy on users.”
