Secret Base, in partnership with Modus Games and Arc System Works, has released a new trailer for Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons, offering a glimpse into the game’s features. This particular trailer highlights the immense power at your disposal as you unleash devastating Special Moves by maxing out your character’s SP Meter. You can achieve this by defeating street thugs and mini-bosses across the city. As you progress, you can upgrade these Special Moves by earning cash, enabling you to overpower your opponents. Alternatively, you can use the money to unlock various in-game items such as collectibles and new playable characters. “New York City in the year 199X: the city has been devastated by nuclear war. Its citizens fight for survival as riots, crime, and chaos flood the streets. The order in which you choose your missions will affect their length, number of enemies, and overall difficulty. Players can select missions within city sectors, pursuing the leaders of four deadly gangs across unique stages filled with melee weapons, devoted members, and diverse environments perfect for intense battles. Cash can be earned by executing Special KO moves on opponents, while Crowd Control moves, which knock out multiple enemies at once, yield health boosts. At the end of each stage, you can spend your cash to unlock powerful upgrades for your characters, or save up for future enhancements. Experiment with different character duos, explore alternate builds through upgrades, and change the sequence in which you confront the city’s sinister gang leaders.”
