Disney Villainous is receiving two new additions this year from Ravensburger and a brand new tabletop tournament for enthusiasts to participate in.
Ravensburger recently announced the addition of two new games to their Disney Villainous board game line, along with news of the first-ever official tournament for the franchise. The new games include Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil (Disney 100 Edition) and Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright. The first game will be a limited edition that features four familiar villains along with a streamlined gameplay that will help first-time players. The second game will delve into the world of The Nightmare Before Christmas and feature characters from the film. The official tournament for the title will be hosted by Ravensburger later this summer at Gen Con 2023. To participate in the tournament, interested players can fill out an entry form online and will be chosen via random raffle selection due to limited seats. Disney Villainous: Introduction To Evil (Disney 100 Edition)
To celebrate 100 years of Disney, Ravensburger is releasing a limited edition of Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil (Disney 100 Edition), featuring four captivating villains: Maleficent, Captain Hook, Ursula, and Prince John. The game is designed for first-time players and features streamlined gameplay. The Target-exclusive game also includes a new box design featuring Ursula, platinum rainbow-foil packaging, lustrous movers, and a Disney100 sticker. The game is available for pre-order exclusively at Target beginning June 20, 2023.
Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright
Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright is the first single-character expansion in the Disney Villainous line where players assume the role of Oogie Boogie to overthrow the Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, two iconic characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The game will be available in October 2023, just in time for Halloween.
