“Ties That Bind” is the latest update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing Silk and Kindred as new characters.
Kabam has unveiled the details of the upcoming update, Version 40.1, for Marvel Contest Of Champions. This update features two new characters, Silk and Kindred. Silk will be available in-game on July 20th, while Kindred will be added on August 3rd. “Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, was bitten by a radioactive spider during a science demonstration. Hunted for her powers, she was kept imprisoned in a bunker for ten years before being rescued. Now, Cindy is rebuilding her life as the sensational web-swinging superhero Silk! Kindred, on the other hand, was created from the DNA of Harry Osborne and Gwen Stacy as part of a plot to torment Peter Parker. Raised by an artificial intelligence created by Norman and Harry, the twins rapidly aged and died due to genetic instability. However, they were resurrected and granted demonic powers by Mephisto for the purpose of exacting revenge. As Kindred, they possess demonic strength, immortality, control over pestilence, and the ability to manipulate dreams in order to break Peter Parker’s spirit and fulfill Harry’s vendetta.”
