The latest additions include Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, Sonic Prime Dash, Too Hot To Handle 2, and The Queen’s Gambit Chess. The chess game, inspired by Netflix’s hit show starring Anya Taylor-Joy, was released recently. With over 60 games currently available, Netflix Games is committed to providing an exceptional gaming experience for its members.

In September 2021, Netflix made its first-ever game company acquisition by acquiring Night School Studio. Since then, they have expanded their studios further by acquiring Finnish mobile developer Next Games and Dungeon Boss studio Boss Fight Entertainment. Additionally, they have opened two internal studios in Finland and Southern California, US.
Oxenfree II: Lost Signals
Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, the first addition to Netflix Games’ library this month, was released on July 12. This sequel to Night School Studio’s successful indie game offers a horror experience with supernatural elements. It is available on mobile devices, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Sonic Prime Dash
Netflix’s Sonic Prime series finally gets its own game with the release of Sonic Prime Dash on July 13. This endless runner game allows players to control Sonic and other characters from the show. It features a leaderboard where players can compare their scores with friends.
Too Hot To Handle 2
Too Hot To Handle 2, a dating reality show-based game, serves as a sequel to the previous title in the series. Developed by Nanobit, players can create their own characters and engage in dating within the game.
The Queen’s Gambit Chess
The Queen’s Gambit Chess, inspired by the Netflix series of the same name, is a chess game with puzzle-solving gameplay elements. Players can also compete with friends through online chess matches.
As mentioned earlier, Netflix subscribers currently have access to over 60 games. This number is set to increase rapidly as Netflix plans to release 40 more games in 2023. Furthermore, Netflix has confirmed that they have a total of 126 games in development.
