Amazon plans to launch a few prototype satellites by the end of this year, with mass production set to commence in 2024. Testing of the Kuiper internet service will also begin in the same year, initially targeting corporate and government customers. Despite the significant investment, Amazon has not received any funding from the state. However, the company remains eligible to receive transportation-related grants to support its efforts.
