Jon Cryer Notices Lex Luthor-LexCorp Similarities in Elon Musk’s New Twitter(X) Design
Actor/director Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead, Clarice) has recently joined The CW’s Superman & Lois during its third season as the major antagonist, taking over from Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor, who previously terrorized the “Arrowverse” on The CW screens. It was no surprise then that Cryer noticed striking similarities between Elon Musk’s unveiling of the new Twitter (X) logo and the emblem of LexCorp. Cryer took to “Twitter X” to point out the visual connections and issue a playful warning to Musk about infringing upon Lex Luthor’s trademarks and copyrights.
Jon Cryer, who played Lex Luthor in the Arrowverse, had once pitched the idea of a Legion of Doom series to Warner Bros after the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event. In a Twitter post, Cryer expressed his disappointment that the idea didn’t come to fruition. The proposed series would have featured Cryer’s Luthor leading a team of formidable villains, including Tom Cavanagh’s Eobard Thawne, aka Reverse-Flash, among others. Cryer’s tweet sparked excitement among fans, who imagined the potential for an epic battle between the Legion of Doom and the Arrowverse’s heroes, forming their version of the Justice League.
