TL;DR
We are only one day away from the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung is expected to showcase several new gadgets, one of which is the Galaxy Z Flip 5. However, for those who cannot wait, leaked real-life photos of the device have emerged, providing a glimpse at the upcoming foldable phone.
While there have been numerous leaked renders of the Flip 5, actual photos of the device in real-world scenarios have been scarce. Fortunately, a leaker named @GaryeonHan on Twitter has shared images that seemingly reveal the handset in action.
As previously seen in leaked renders, it appears that Samsung has successfully achieved a flat fold with no visible gap in the Flip 5. The company has achieved this by utilizing a new waterdrop hinge, which is also rumored to contribute to the device’s thinner profile.
One of the photos gives a clear view of the phone when fully opened. Upon closer inspection, it is difficult to spot any creases in the center of the device. The reduction of creases is expected to be a result of the newly designed hinge.
