Itel has recently launched the S23 in India, claiming it to be the country’s first 16GB RAM smartphone with memory fusion in the sub-Rs 10,000 category. The device is available on Amazon, priced at Rs 8,799, and comes in two colour variants: Starry Black and Mystery White. The 4GB+4GB RAM variant can be purchased from retail outlets, while the 8GB+8GB RAM variant is available on Amazon’s website.
The Itel S23 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS waterdrop display that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The back panel of the Mystic White variant changes colours when exposed to UV light. The phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The handset runs on Android 12 and boasts a 50MP rear camera paired with an 8MP front AI camera. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that claims to offer 15 hours of battery life.
