Hearthstone: Introducing “Titans” Expansion – Unleashing Warcraft’s Gods

Hearthstone’s upcoming expansion is set to be an homage to the awe-inspiring Titans, the most formidable entities in the Warcraft universe. The expansion will not only be named after them but will also incorporate their power into the game. With a total of 145 new cards, including 11 Legendary “Titan” cards tailored to each Hearthstone class, players can expect a fresh and exciting gameplay experience. Additionally, the expansion introduces a new keyword called “Forge” and brings back the popular “Magnetic” keyword.

To stay true to the theme, the Titans will possess extraordinary strength in various ways. Each Titan comes with a passive ability and three active abilities that can be used in any order, reminiscent of the single-ability Locations. Once all three abilities are activated, the Titan can engage in regular attacks using its standard attack and health stats.

Furthermore, the expansion showcases the new Forge keyword. By spending two mana, players can add a Forge card to their deck, granting an additional ability. The upgraded version of the card will then return to the player’s hand. Alongside the Forge keyword, Magnetic makes its return, allowing Mechs to combine and enhance their statistics. Notably, Magnetic cards will no longer require an empty space on the board to be played.

These exciting updates will be introduced in the Hearthstone 27.0 update. But before that, patch 26.6 will introduce the new Twist mode, replacing Classic. The initial beta test, called New Age, enables players to utilize the Core set cards and everything released from Ashes of Outland onwards, with the exception of neutral cards. Rank progression and Tavern Pass rewards similar to the Standard and Wild formats will be offered in this mode.

Finally, the highly anticipated Fire Festival will make its return from July 11 to August 1. Players can participate in special event quests in both Hearthstone and Battlegrounds modes, with a dedicated event rewards track. Completing the track will grant players six card packs, the Felblaze Illidan Demon Hunter skin, and the Sparkhoarder Togwaggle Battlegrounds hero skin.
