Only a few hours ago we told you that it seems like we’re seeing a new Google Pixel 8a leak every day now, and here we are with the second leak of this day. This time around, some promotional images, or straight-up ads, whatever you want to call them, have been outed and are giving us a better idea what to expect from the upcoming device.
According to these materials, the Pixel 8a will have the Tensor G3 chipset at the helm, an “AI-mazing” camera with Best Take, Audio Magic Eraser, and Night Sight, “crystal-clear calls, even when your caller is in a noisy place”, “fast charging” and a “reliable all-day battery”, IP67 certification for dust and water resistance, and it will get seven years of security updates just like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
The handset is expected to go on sale on May 16, which is two days after its presumptive official unveiling during Google’s I/O developer conference on May 14.
Previous leaks and rumors talked about the Pixel 8a coming with a 6.1″ OLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of base storage, a 64 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultrawide, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 27W wired charging.
