Igloosoft and tinyBuild Games are set to release Farworld Pioneers for PlayStation consoles on August 15th.
Farworld Pioneers, developed by indie game developer Igloosoft and published by tinyBuild Games, will be available for the PS4 and PS5 starting Monday, August 15th. The game, which has already been released for PC and Xbox consoles since May, takes players on an adventure where they must survive on a planet after their pod crashes on the surface. PlayStation players will be able to experience the same version of the game with all the updates and added content that has been released so far.
“Embark on this thrilling adventure with only a pickaxe, your trusty NPC companion, and the remnants of your crash landing. Build a shelter and survive the first night while facing long-term challenges. Establish a farm before your supply of canned food runs out, and utilize a smelter and worktable to transform abundant ores into essential weapons and tools. The key to success lies in recruiting other survivors, assigning them tasks, managing their needs, and witnessing the growth of your makeshift shelter into a flourishing colony. Watch out for not only alien creatures but also enemy raiders who will seek to exploit the planet’s rich resources.”
“Engage in retro side-scrolling action gameplay with a twist – physics affects everything, from character movement to bullet trajectories and grenade bounces. Progress through the tech tree, explore new alien biomes, and venture deeper into the planet to acquire the knowledge and resources needed to build miniguns, laser weaponry, and more destructive tools. Conquer the planet to unlock the blueprint for spaceship construction and set your colony on a course to the stars. Discover new biomes on other planets filled with fresh enemies, resources, and exciting adventures. Play solo or join servers with up to 32 players. Choose between a peaceful approach or assign factions to engage in PvP battles on the harsh alien landscape.”
