  • Date and Time: The event will run from Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 2, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
  • Pokémon Debut and Shiny Release: Turtonator, a new Alolan Pokémon, will make its debut as a Tier Three Raid Boss in Pokémon GO. Its Shiny form will also be available. Turtonator joins the ranks of popular species such as Absol, Alolan Marowak, Alolan Raichu, and Druddigon that are frequently featured in Raids.
  • New Mega Pokémon: Mega Sableye, a mysterious Mega Raid Boss, will replace Mega Sceptile during this event. Mega Sableye can also be found in its Shiny form. It is expected that the Shiny rate for Mega Sableye in Mega Raids will be boosted to the expected 1-in-60 rate for Mega-capable species.
  • Wild Spawns: During the event, you can encounter Vulpix, Houndour, Poocnyena, Galarian Zigzagoon, Carvanha, Numel, Stunky, Litwick, and Litten in the wild. Completing the research tasks will reward Trainers with a Premium Battle Pass, 15,000 XP, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. The chosen path will also affect the attraction of Fire-type or Dark-type Pokémon to Incense.
  • Field Research Task Encounters: Field Research tasks will give Trainers the opportunity to encounter Alolan Marowak, Alolan Grimer, Alolan Meowth, Magmar, Sneasel, Litwick, and… Turtonator!
