Domino’s revolutionizes pizza delivery by allowing customers to order to a specific GPS coordinate instead of a traditional address.
Now, if you’re away from home and suddenly craving pizza, Domino’s has your back with a new feature. Users can drop a pin on a map to mark their location, enabling the pizza chain to deliver to unconventional spots like parks, baseball fields, and beaches, just in time for the summer season.
In addition, Domino’s Pinpoint Delivery feature provides real-time tracking of your order. Customers can view the driver’s GPS location, estimated time of arrival, and receive a text alert when the delivery is nearby. Simply meet the driver at the designated spot, confirm your identity, and grab your pizza.

Domino’s has always embraced technology to enhance its pizza delivery service. While some innovations were short-lived marketing stunts, the company has experimented with driverless cars and small wheel-based robots for deliveries. In 2015, they introduced a single pizza emoji for quick ordering, and in 2019, an Easy Order option for ordering directly from a car’s touchscreen.
