Blue Microphone Brand being eliminated by Logitech

Logitech has made the decision to retire the Blue Microphone brand and will now be selling their microphones under the Logitech G brand. The popular Blue Microphone, Yeti X, will still be available for purchase. General Manager of Gaming for Logitech, Ujesh Desai, confirmed the merger of Blue Microphones via Twitter and announced that the Astro Gaming and Logitech Creators brands will also be merged and eventually sold under the Logitech G brand. The brand will continue to operate as Astro after the merger and a new product launch has been teased. Logitech acquired Blue Microphones in 2018 for $117 million, while Astro Gaming was purchased for $85 million in 2017. In light of this merger, Logitech has stated that the Blue name will be used to describe its technologies, like BLUE VO!CE. Stay tuned for more exciting developments from Logitech.
