FX’s What We Do in the Shadows Season 5 Episode 6: “Urgent Care” brings some interesting developments, including Guillermo’s injury and Colin Robinson’s feeding problem. Let’s take a closer look at the trailer for this episode.
In the previous episode, Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, Colin, and The Guide almost revealed their vampire existence while Guillermo had a tense encounter with his mother. Now, in S05E06: “Urgent Care,” directed by Yana Gorskaya and written by Sam Johnson & Chris Marcil, Guillermo faces a setback while testing his vampire skills with Laszlo. This leads Nadja to take him to a doctor for a check-up. Meanwhile, Colin is facing his own dilemma as he finds himself too interesting to feed.

In season five, Nandor notices a growing distance between him and Guillermo, who seems to be spending more time with Laszlo. Laszlo, known for his scientific expertise, attempts to unravel the mystery behind Guillermo’s strange and secretive changes. Nadja, dealing with a supernatural hex, reconnects with her family from the Old Country. Colin, following the footsteps of other energy vampires, enters the world of politics. And The Guide contemplates her place among this tight-knit group of immortal friends.
What We Do in the Shadows, created by Jemaine Clement and produced by FX Productions, features an ensemble cast including Kayvan Novak as Nandor, Natasia Demetriou as Nadja, Matt Berry as Laszlo, Mark Proksch as Colin Robinson, Harvey Guillén as Guillermo, and Kristen Schaal as The Guide. This season introduces Anoop Desai (American Idol) in a recurring role as one of Nandor’s acquaintances from his homeland. Parisa Fakhri (SEAL Team) also joins as Marwa, one of Nandor’s many wives from his ancient warrior days. Clement, Waititi, and Paul Simms serve as executive producers for What We Do in the Shadows, along with Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch, Eli Bush, and Stefani Robinson.
