If Virgin Media is your chosen supplier there’s good news coming to your living room this month. The firm has just announced that it’s offering customers 15 extra premium channels to watch during November and there’s no charge for tuning in. The freebie includes Virgin Media’s Asian Mela bundle with the promotion launched to celebrate Diwali.
As part of the package – which usually costs £12 per month – TV users will get access to a swathe of channels such as SONY TV HD, Zee TV HD and Utsav Gold HD.
Here is the full list of channels being made available for free this month – it ends on November 20.

Speaking about the update, David Bouchier, Chief TV & Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “Diwali is such a special time of year for so many families to come together and celebrate, so to add to the celebrations, we are making 15 premium Asian TV channels available at no extra cost for our customers. This includes all the best programming and movies from India in HD as standard, with some shows completely exclusive to Virgin Media”.
As well as dishing out TV, Virgin has also confirmed that it will be offering free broadband to those signing up for certain plans as part of its Black Friday sale.
Deals include Virgin’s M250 and M500 plans which are free for the first three months. There’s also the same deal on the firm’s ultimate Gig1 option which means you pay a penny until next year.
