Video: Lamborghini Urus Gets the Baseball Bat Touch for Internet Fame

Some people would do anything to score internet points, which sometimes leads to fame and, inevitably, money, hence why we have seen some crazy videos involving all sorts of cars over the years.

Some of them were smashed with baseball bats, others were thrown from helicopters, meeting their maker while touching the ground, and a select few were even blown up. We kid you not; everything we’ve said here is true, and adding to the former category is another clip.

Shared by @supercar.fails on social media a few hours ago, it was originally posted in November by a guy who goes by the name of @joelbeukers on Instagram, who’s into a healthy lifestyle and tends to do all kinds of stunts for… you guessed it: internet points. This wasn’t even his first video involving smashing things up with a baseball bat; only this time around, the main star was a pricey Lamborghini Urus.

Wrapped in gold and fitted with a few aftermarket components, the Italian super crossover was attacked with a baseball bat. The clip starts with the guy jumping on the hood, and after getting a grip, he proceeds to hit the car’s windshield. The damages sustained were not major, though it is going to need a new front glass and probably a trip to the body shop to mend the hood.

It appears that the Urus’s windscreen was cracked prior to this stunt and was supposedly on its way to being replaced when its owner decided to score some more virtual points by smashing it with a baseball bat. And we’ve got to hand it to him because as crazy as the stunt was, it worked. We’re disappointed that he stopped. After all, the world needs fewer crossovers, even if this is a pure exotic model (with VW Touareg underpinnings).

Things got crazier after the ‘testosterone’ display, as the owner went inside his Lambo, took a can, and started throwing some white dust on his friends. Hopefully, it was the kind of magic that makes you want to use your brain more – wait a minute, that came out wrong. Either way, the video failed to go viral, as it got a decent 25k likes on the original post and 6k on @supercar.fails, probably to the disappointment of the guy whose name is written on the papers of the Lambo high rider.

The staged clip, which is only a few seconds long, can be seen at the bottom of this paragraph, and it is probably one of the stupidest things we’ve seen all year. And as a social media user who already saw it said, it “couldn’t have happened to a better car.” But what’s your take on it?
