This thrilling ride is currently under construction and promises to bring “innovative and technological achievements” to the park. It’s as close as you can get to experiencing a high-speed heist with Dom and the gang, complete with plenty of drifting.
For those who have taken the studio tour, you may already be familiar with the Fast & Furious experience called “Supercharged.” This 3D attraction takes riders on a top-speed chase with characters like Dominic Toretto, Roman Pearce, and Owen Shaw. It’s just one stop on the adventure that also includes encounters with the likes of Peter Jackson’s King Kong.
The exact completion date and plot details for the new coaster haven’t been revealed yet. However, it’s safe to assume that members of the Fast & Furious family will guide riders through a thrilling journey from the front seat of a souped-up car. This announcement comes shortly after the release of Fast X, one of the final films in the franchise, featuring the beloved cast as well as new additions like Rita Moreno, Brie Larson, and Jason Mamoa.
In addition to the coaster, Universal Studios Hollywood recently welcomed the Super Nintendo World, a vibrant attraction that has captivated fans since its opening. Unfortunately, the park had to say goodbye to the Animal Planet Live show to make room for these new experiences. But fear not, fans of franchises like Harry Potter, Transformers, and The Mummy can still embark on exciting adventures with their favorite characters.
