David Dastmalchian and Fede Mele have just announced their new comic, Knights Vs Samurai, at San Diego Comic-Con. The comic will be published by Todd McFarlane.

David Dastmalchian, known for his roles in superhero films and TV shows, including The Dark Knight, Ant-Man, The Flash, and The Suicide Squad, as well as his work in Denis Villeneuve’s films and his own film Animals, has written the comic book Count Crowley published by Dark Horse Comics. His latest book, Knights Vs Samurai, will be published by Todd McFarlane Studios through Image Comics and was just announced at the Todd McFarlane panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The comic, titled Knights Vs Samurai, explores people’s relationships with each other and is set in the 16th century. It delves into the idea that “Sometimes the truths that we think are different than what we were taught.” According to Dastmalchian, he has had the idea for this comic since the third grade, making this announcement very emotional for him. Additionally, it happens to be his birthday today. Happy birthday, David Dastmalchian!
