Fans of Game of Thrones may be missing their weekly dose of Peter Dinklage, who played the beloved character Tyrion Lannister for eight seasons. However, the good news is that the award-winning actor has been keeping himself busy with various projects. He recently revealed in an interview with Collider during a press tour for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts that audiences are about to see a new side of him.
Dinklage spoke with Collider’s Editor-in-Chief, Steve Weintraub, about his upcoming film Brothers, in which he stars alongside Josh Brolin of Avengers: Endgame fame. Dinklage revealed that the story for the film originated from an unexpected and humorous situation. Though we don’t know much about the film, we do know that Dinklage and Brolin play siblings. When asked about the secrecy surrounding the film, Dinklage said, “I like keeping everything under wraps because it’s just fun… movies have been made for less ideas than [playing siblings because] we both have really big heads.” Dinklage also mentioned he’s a huge fan of Brolin’s work.
In addition, Dinklage shared that Brothers is a comedy, and the film boasts an impressive cast that includes Brendan Fraser, Glenn Close, Taylour Page, and Joshua Mikel. It was written by Macon Blair and has a story by Etan Cohen, with Max Barbakow directing.
