Terraria’s biggest mods are now playable on its latest update

The mod emphasizes challenging gameplay, offering additional difficulty settings to push players’ Terraria skills to their limits. The Hellish Harbor update even includes lore entries for all new creatures in the Terraria Bestiary, along with a standalone mod pack featuring new music.

The Thorium mod provides an excellent opportunity to explore new classes. Players can take up the mantle of a Thrower, reintroducing a damage type removed from Terraria’s early days. Alternatively, players can support their teammates by becoming either a Healer or a Bard, healing and buffing allies while combating foes. While Thorium may not feature as many bosses as other mods, it boasts 10 new NPCs, two additional biomes, and an impressive selection of over 2,700 items.

These mods represent just a fraction of the updates available for the latest tModLoader 1.4.4 release. Nevertheless, they are substantial enough to provide players with a year’s worth of content until the arrival of Terraria 1.4.5 in the near future.
