The Tecno Pova 5 series has been officially unveiled in India during Tecno’s World of TECNOlogy event. This lineup includes the Tecno Pova 5 and the Tecno Pova 5 Pro, both of which are set to launch in India on August 14. These smartphones share several key features, such as a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, both models run on Android 13 with the HiOS skin and have dual rear camera setups. The Pro variant also boasts an Arc interface with LED lights, as previously teased.

Although the Tecno Pova 5 and Pova 5 Pro were only showcased at the event, their official launch is scheduled for August 14. The pricing details will be announced during the launch, and the smartphones will be available for purchase on Amazon.

The Tecno Pova 5 is offered in Mecha Black, Hurricane Blue, and Amber Gold color options. Meanwhile, the Pova 5 Pro will debut in Silver Fantasy and Dark Illusion.

Tecno Pova 5 Specifications

The Tecno Pova 5 features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, equipped with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Tecno Pova 5 is equipped with a dual camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor accompanied by an AI lens and LED Flash. For selfies, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Connectivity options for the Tecno Pova 5 include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

Tecno Pova 5 Pro Specifications

The standout feature of the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is its ARC interface on the back, which is claimed to be a first for the company. This interface includes LED lights that can be used for notifications and alerts. Like the Tecno Pova 5, it also possesses similar rear camera and display features.

Under the hood, the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 6080 SoC, coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 CPU. The front-facing camera on this smartphone features a 16-megapixel sensor. The device is equipped with a smaller 5,000mAh battery but supports faster 68W charging.
