The highly anticipated season 4 ‘Reloaded’ of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is now available, offering gamers a thrilling new experience. This season introduces iconic characters from Amazon Prime Video’s hit series, The Boys, as playable operators. Players can now embody Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir, with each character available as a separate bundle priced at 2,400 COD points. These points can be acquired gradually through gameplay or purchased from the in-game store.
Apart from the unique characters themselves, each bundle includes weapon charms and decals, a custom loading screen, and an emblem that appears on the screens of defeated enemies. Warzone 2 players can also explore the new Vondel map for intense battle royale action.
Starlight, one of the three superhero characters, is now fully accessible in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The Homelander bundle will be released on July 16, while the Black Noir skin pack will be available on July 20. As an exciting addition, the season 4 update brings a new Field Upgrade called Temp V, which replicates an actual serum from The Boys show. This serum grants temporary superpowers to your operator, randomly selecting from four different abilities for unlimited use throughout the match.
The Charge Jump power allows you to soar through the skies, covering vast distances on the map without taking damage upon landing, but dealing damage to nearby targets. Laser Vision lets you unleash a powerful laser beam reminiscent of Homelander, but exposes your back to potential attacks. Electric Shockwave emits a charged explosion that not only damages operators but also destroys vehicles and equipment, functioning similarly to an EMP. Finally, Teleport transports your operator upwards, allowing them to parachute down to a safe location.
To promote The Boys characters, murals and billboard advertisements featuring these superheroes will be scattered throughout the Vondel and Al Mazrah maps. Additionally, players can unlock the MX Guardian, a fully automatic and versatile shotgun with a five-bullet capacity per round, by completing a battle pass challenge.
Speaking of the new Vondel map, it includes a dedicated Gulag that replaces the wine cellar and dungeon beneath the castle. Designed specifically for 1v1 combat, this three-lane map revolves around a central circular structure, serving as the primary area for intense firefights. It’s important to note that if you are eliminated from combat before activating the Temp V power, it will be lost from your inventory, similar to other regular Field Upgrades.
