Samsung Launches High-End Experience Store in Telangana and Outlines Ambitious Business Expansion Goals

Samsung, the leading smartphone brand, has inaugurated its largest premium experience store in Telangana, with the aim of capturing 60 percent of the premium product market share in the state. Positioned over an expansive 3,500 square feet, this store matches the grandeur of Samsung’s premium experience store in Delhi.

Sumit Walia, Senior Director at Samsung India, expressed excitement about introducing the cutting-edge Premium Experience Store to consumers in Hyderabad. The objective is to connect the diverse local community with the best of Samsung’s technological advancements. The store features unique zones such as Samsung SmartThings, Gaming, and Bespoke DIY Customisation, catered specifically to Gen Z consumers.

Samsung already boasts the largest Premium Experience Store in Bengaluru, spanning an impressive 33,000 square feet. The company plans to establish a total of 15 premium experience stores across India by December, in a bid to increase revenue from premium products and strengthen its overall business.

Rahul Singh, Head of Exclusive Brand Shops at Samsung India, revealed the company’s ambitious goal of achieving a 60 percent premium product contribution in Telangana by 2023, and a 70 percent contribution in Hyderabad. Currently, Samsung has 56 brand stores in Telangana, with premium products accounting for 50 percent of sales in these exclusive stores, and 65 percent in Hyderabad.

Singh also highlighted the strong growth of 30 percent in the brand stores of Telangana in 2022. He anticipates further growth exceeding 30 percent in the state following the launch of this new Premium Experience Store, as well as during the upcoming festival season.
