Adult Swim always brings the excitement, and today is no different. When we released the schedule for the Adult Swim Festival on the Green earlier, we noticed something missing: Rick and Morty. Considering the upcoming seventh season and the highly anticipated Rick and Morty: The Anime, it seemed natural for the Emmy Award-winning series to be part of the four-day event. Fortunately, our concerns have been put to rest as the dynamic duo will indeed be showcased at the festival. This means we can now delve into speculations about what we might uncover before the event. But for now, let’s take a look at what’s in store for SDCC 2023 weekend…
Adult Swim Festival: Rick and Morty, Eric Andre, Sarah Sherman & More!
Prepare yourselves for the standout event of San Diego Comic-Con weekend, the highly-anticipated Adult Swim Festival. Located just outside the San Diego Convention Center at 5th Avenue Landing and Convention Way, this three-day extravaganza will feature headliners Eric Andre (The Eric Andre Show) and the multi-talented Flying Lotus. But that’s not all – the Adult Swim Festival on the Green in San Diego will also showcase the incredible talents of Sarah Sherman (aka Sarah Squirm, Saturday Night Live, “Adult Swim Flayaway” Infomercial), Hemlocke Springs, Ginger Root, DeathbyRomy, and Akira Akira. If you’re attending SDCC 2023 and are 18+ years old, you can enjoy this remarkable event for free by making advance reservations at AdultSwimFestival.com.
But wait, there’s even more to look forward to! Don’t miss the “‘Smiling Friends’ Rodeo,” a celebration of one of Adult Swim’s most beloved series with creators Michael Cusack and Zach Hadel. Plus, Tyler Bates and Joanne Higginbottom, the talented composers behind Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal and Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, will treat the audience to “The Genndy Tartakovsky Musical Experience” accompanied by a live orchestra.
