Report: Redmi Note 13 Spotted on EEC Listing, Another Redmi Smartphone Emerges

Redmi Note 12 series, which had its debut in March this year, seems to be getting a successor soon as the Chinese smartphone company is allegedly working on new models. Recently, a Redmi Note 13 smartphone was spotted on the EEC certification website, alongside another unidentified Redmi smartphone. The Redmi Note 13 is expected to be launched as a successor to the base variant of the Redmi Note 12 series. The current Redmi Note 12 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and boasts an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

According to a report by TheTechOutlook, a new Redmi smartphone with the model number 2312DRAABG has been found on the EEC certification site. This smartphone is rumored to be the Redmi Note 13 5G and was also spotted on the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) website a few days ago.

In addition to this, another unidentified Redmi smartphone with the model number 23090RA98G has been discovered on the EEC certification site, as mentioned in the report. The name of this device is currently unknown. Unfortunately, the listing does not provide any information regarding the specifications and features of these rumored smartphones. The company has not yet disclosed any details about these devices either.

The Redmi Note 12 series, which includes the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, was launched earlier this year in India. These phones offer AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and come pre-installed with the MIUI 13 custom skin.

While the Redmi Note 12 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, the high-end Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G boasts a triple rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 lens and a 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Additionally, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
