The speedrunning event took place in person from May 28 to June 4 at the Hilton Minneapolis hotel, with back-to-back speedruns scheduled for the entire length of the event. Highlights included a tutorial for speedrunning Bastion, a launch day tournament for Street Fighter 6, and an impressive blindfolded run of Breath of the Wild, completed in just one hour and 33 minutes by Bubzia. Games Done Quick has raised over $46.2 million for charities including CARE, the Malala Fund, and the Organization for Autism Research since the first event in 2010.
