Reason Man Needs a ‘Massage Asap’ Delights Internet

We all know that cats are no ordinary pets; they don’t listen or follow orders and simply do whatever they want whenever they want. It is almost is if they own us, and not the other way round.

A cat owner from London, in the United Kingdom, has melted hearts all over the internet after a clip of him “almost breaking [his] neck” for his pet’s utmost comfort went viral on social media.

In the viral clip, shared on TikTok earlier in February, under the username @theazizshow, the poster can be seen trying to sleep with his head hanging by the edge of the pillow, while his cat sleeps comfortably on top of it.

The post comes with a caption that reads: “Me about to break my neck so my cat can sleep peacefully on my pillow.” It is followed by: “Book me a massage, asap.”

The man sleeps awkwardly with his cat on top. The cat owner has left the internet in stitches after sharing a clip of him almost breaking his neck for the comfort of his pet.

The poster told Newsweek: “Vincent is one of four cats in my household, but me and Vincent are attached. He follows me everywhere and sleeps by my side every night. He’s literally my best friend and obviously he’s the cutest cat ever.”

All cat owners love their animals and would do anything to make them happy, even breaking their neck for their comfort, but do they feel the same about us?

The charity Cats Protection says felines don’t feel or express their love the same way we do. Instead, their feelings are influenced by emotional motivators, which can be positive or negative.

The charity’s website also added that recent studies have found felines care more about their owners than previously thought; they even seek their owners for comfort when they are in distress.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 2.7 million views and more than 536,000 likes on the platform.

One user, Zilla, commented: “I mean what’s your neck ever done anyway. look at that sweet baby.” And Jasmine posted: “Literally me when my cat decides to lay in the middle of the bed so I’m diagonal.”

Kk1122 wrote: “I sleep on the couch sometimes so my cat can have my bed.” And luwizitoeyyoh added: “Another trip to chiropractor won’t hurt as long as they sleep soundly.”
