Among these new releases are the 15-inch MacBook Air, as well as revamped versions of the Mac Pro and Mac Studio, all powered by Apple Silicon. Preorders are available now, with the official release date set for June 13th.
To preorder the 15-inch MacBook Air, starting at $1,299, visit Apple’s website. It boasts a 15.3-inch screen with 500 nits of brightness and comes in dark blue, starlight, space gray, or silver. The base model includes an eight-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of storage. For an additional cost, you can add up to 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
The new Mac Studio, which features Apple’s M2 Max and new M2 Ultra processor, is also available for preorder now. The M2 Max chip model starts at $1,999 with a 12-core CPU, a 30-core GPU, 32GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. Alternatively, you can preorder the M2 Ultra chip model starting at $3,999, which includes a 24-core CPU, a 60-core GPU, 128GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. This model also includes Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
Finally, the Mac Pro features the new M2 Ultra processor and starts at $6,999 with a 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, 64GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. It supports up to 192GB of unified memory and includes eight Thunderbolt ports, six PCI expansion slots, and two HDMI ports that support a resolution of up to 8K at 240Hz frame rates. You can preorder the Mac Pro now before its official release on June 13th.
