Possible Unauthorized Acquisitions Could Lead to Online Leaks of Final Fantasy 16 Spoilers

As the highly anticipated launch of Final Fantasy 16 approaches, Square Enix has acknowledged that physical copies of the game have been leaked prior to its official release on June 22nd. The company is currently investigating these “illegitimate acquisitions” and taking necessary steps to minimize any potential damage. Therefore, fans should exercise caution as spoilers may emerge.

Square Enix made this announcement on Twitter and urged those in possession of early copies to respect the gaming community by refraining from sharing screenshots, videos, or livestreams until the official release date.

Square Enix stated, “We are aware that a limited number of physical copies of Final Fantasy XVI have been circulated. We are currently conducting a thorough investigation into these unauthorized acquisitions and taking necessary measures to prevent any spoilers from emerging prior to the official release on June 22nd.”

The company emphasized the importance of preserving the complete gaming experience for fans and declared their intention to remove any pre-launch images, videos, or streams. They requested the assistance and cooperation of the gaming community during this final week leading up to the launch.

The release date of June 22nd draws near, and the development team is eager for players to immerse themselves in the full game experience as intended.
