Original Kanto Trainers Daisy and Bill are featured in Pokémon TCG Japan’s Pokémon Card 151 which is now available to order.

Pokémon TCG Japan has unveiled the highly anticipated expansion set, Pokémon Card 151, inspired by the original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region. Notably, this set marks the return of Kadabra after a 21-year absence from the TCG. The absence was due to a legal dispute with magician Uri Geller, who claimed that Kadabra’s design was inspired by his signature spoon-bending trick. However, Geller withdrew his complaint three years ago and apologized to Pokémon fans. In a unique twist, this expansion set will be organized in Pokédex order, a departure from the usual organization by type. The set was released in Japan on June 16th and will serve as the debut set for the Scarlet & Violet era in the English-language version, titled Scarlet & Violet – 151. Let’s now explore some of the Secret Rare cards featured in this set.

Pokémon Card 151 features four Full Art Trainer Supporters, including Erika’s Invitation and Giovanni’s Charisma, which also receive Special Illustration Rares. Additionally, we have Daisy’s Helo and Bill’s Transfer, pictured above, which are exclusive to the Full Art designs. Daisy Oak, the granddaughter of Professor Oak and the older sister of Blue (known as Gary in the anime), represents Daisy. Bill, the researcher and inventor of the Pokémon Storage System, is another notable character from the original Kanto games.
